HOW IT STARTED
Every product starts with a problem that bothers someone enough to do something about it.
For us, it was this: the trails we love exist only as data. A line on an app. A file nobody ever opens again. A memory that slowly fades.
We wanted to change that. So we started turning GPX files into something you can see, touch and hang on your wall.
That was the beginning of TRACE— a handmade 3D relief frame built entirely around your route, your trail, your story.
HOW WE WORK
Every Trace starts with your GPX file.
We process your route, print it layer by layer in biodegradable PLA, finish every edge by hand and frame it in a slim wood profile. No factory. No production line. Just one workshop in Switzerland, making one frame at a time.
From the moment your file arrives to the moment your TRACE ships — everything is done by hand. Because that's the only way to make something worth hanging on a wall.

We use PLA — a plant-based, biodegradable filament. The mountains we celebrate deserve materials that respect them.
